We are staffed by key management personnel that possess 30 – 35 +years each of experience providing innovative turnkey EPC solutions and support. Collectively, our team has delivered more than 10 GW of power projects, and our experience in the industry includes simple cycle, combined cycle, reciprocating engines, combined heat and power projects, distributed generation, waste to energy facilities, biomass, biofuels, and other alternative energy solutions.
Executive Vice President
Michael DonMoyerMasTec Power Corp. welcomes Michael DonMoyer PE, PMP, as Executive Vice President. Mr. DonMoyer joined MasTec Power in January 2017. Mr. DonMoyer offers 35 years of leadership experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) with a variety of plant technologies including gas, renewable energy, coal and geothermal, gasification and biomass projects- both domestic and international. Mr. DonMoyer previously served as Stantec's Western U.S. Power Generation Lead responsible for developing EPCM capabilities. Prior to Stantec, he was President of Quanta Power Generation, helping the company establish its start-up EPC practice for utility scale solar and other renewable energy projects as well as diversifying into more conventional natural gas fired projects. Mr. DonMoyer has spent 30 years with the power engineering and construction firm Shaw Power and its predecessor, Stone & Webster. As a Vice President there, he managed the design, construction and development of all types of power and energy facilities, from coal and gas plants to geothermal and waste to energy facilities. Mr. DonMoyer is an active member and volunteer with Grand County Search and Rescue.
VP of Operations
Diane GiacomozziDiane Giacomozzi is an executive offering 32 years of experience in a variety of energy and industrial markets including power generation, natural gas and renewable energy. As Vice President of Operations, Diane is responsible for providing effective, world-class leadership and management to all areas of MasTec Power. As a member of the executive leadership team, she plays an integral role in the development of the strategic business plans for the group. She is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and operating budgets for the division as well as establishing all internal controls and governance.
VP of Project Execution
Michael MiketaMike Miketa is an award-winning construction leader with 30 years of experience in multi-million dollar project management accountability. He has an exemplary track record delivering large-scale projects, working in oil, gas, chemicals, pipelines, renewable energy markets, power and mining. He is a tenacious manager with a can-do attitude to help keep the big-picture focus while holding the site team accountable on daily project activities. Mike works hard to ensure that the company’s goals for each project are met by setting the highest standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity. He is an incredible communicator with a deep knowledge in completing a variety of projects through teamwork, strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting. Mike has repeatedly been recognized for completing challenging projects on time, on or under budget and without incident.
VP of Business Development
Peter BrinzeyPeter Brinzey has eighteen (18) years’ experience in the power generation and energy industry. Peter Brinzey has focused exclusively on power generation EPC, project development and energy mergers and acquisitions activities nationally. During that time, Mr. Brinzey has transacted on over $1 billion in acquisitions and development projects. These projects have ranged from smaller but complex “behind the fence” cogeneration facilities to larger utility grade/scale generation projects. With proficiency in both fossil and renewable generation, Mr. Brinzey advocates for a “clean and green” generation portfolio for our clients but also recognizes the importance of a balanced portfolio that includes state of the art base load capability as well as an answer to firming, shaping and ability to have quick start/multi start generation to provide for the emerging capacity markets.
